Stuart and I worked together at Spectra Gases for several years. During that time, Stuart was asked to revamp all financial aspects of an important but unique division of the business. He successfully redefined product costing (standard costs/variances, etc.) that, for many years challenged our financial team. His ability to address these issues allowed the division to reflect on more appropriate costing data so as to make more accurately informed decisions. I strongly believe that Stuart would be a significant contributor to any financial/cost accounting team especially with challenging atypical financial issues where individuals require “to think out of the box” to solve complex accounting concerns.
